Field Application Engineer
Location: Taipei, Taiwan
Job Description / Responsibilities
- Hands-on customer facing integration and administration.
- Provide professional services to customers’ system integration.
- Perform problem analysis and identify solutions to resolve issues.
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams.
- Document technical knowledge in the form of manuals and runbooks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field).
- 5+ years customer facing technical support experience.
- Experience with datacenter and network configuration, security, TCP/IP, Docker, Consul, Vault, Terraform, and cloud service platform such as GCP, AWS or Azure.
- Fluent in English.
Preferences
- 3+ years programming experience.
- Industry experience in telecom and payment.
- Familiar in technologies: blockchain, authentication (OAuth 2.0), electronic payment processing, digital wallet, DCC, DCB, POS system, BSS integration.
